Our Story
It started with a search that should have been simple.
A few years ago, one of our founders decided to replace short car trips with an electric bike. It sounded easy. It wasn't. Weeks went by comparing models across dozens of websites, reading forum threads, and trying to make sense of specs that rarely matched from one listing to the next. Watts, watt-hours, torque, Class 1, Class 3, hub drive, mid drive. Every answer seemed to raise two more questions.
When the right bike finally arrived, it changed everything. Errands became rides. The commute became the best part of the day. Hills stopped being a reason to take the car. But the road to get there had been far more complicated than it needed to be.
That gap stayed with us. Electric bikes are one of the most exciting ways to move around, yet buying one online still feels like a gamble for many people. So we decided to build the store we wished had existed back then: a place with fewer, better choices, clear information and real people who answer questions.
That store is Rydeora.
What We Do
A retailer, not a manufacturer.
Rydeora is an independent online e-bike retailer. We don't design or manufacture bikes, and we never pretend to. Instead, we partner with established e-bike brands and bring their models together in one carefully edited store.
That independence matters. Because we are not tied to a single brand, our job is simple: help you find the bike that genuinely fits the way you ride, whether that's a folding e-bike for a small apartment, a fat tire bike for the beach or an electric mountain bike for the trails.
Product pages show the manufacturer's specifications, and manufacturer warranties apply where provided by the brand, so you always know exactly what you are buying and who stands behind it.
How We Choose Our Brands
We say no more often than yes.
Not every e-bike makes it onto Rydeora. Before we work with a brand, we look at four things.

We look for brands with a track record, a clear warranty policy and access to replacement parts, so your bike is supported long after delivery.

Safety and build quality
Reliable brakes, solid frames and, where available, electrical systems certified to recognized standards such as UL 2849.

Honest specifications
Clear, consistent data on motor, battery, range, weight and e-bike class. If the numbers don't add up, we don't list the bike.

Real-world value
A fair price for what you actually get on the road. Premium where it matters, without paying for gimmicks.

- Free, tracked delivery. Free shipping on all orders to the contiguous United States, typically delivered in 4-7 business days, with tracking sent by email as soon as your order ships.
- Transparent policies. 30-day returns, cancellation before shipment and every fee, including the 25% restocking fee on change-of-mind returns, are written clearly in our store policies. No surprises.
